what?!?! the grain on that grip is so figured it looks burled (not that i know anything about chandan). awesome, if i wasn't savin up right now...

Stayed up all night so I could make sure Yangdu would be up so I could e-mail my first order ever :), Its none of these DOTD's, but stayed up encase the one I wanted was being sold.
I'm super excited, I'm also hyped over red bull its 4:45am here in Western Australia. I have a very long day infront of me :P
In other news I also became a member of the Australasian Knife Collectors Club yay!

In case you guys haven't noticed, the WWII is 18". A heavy-duty chopper. Sweet-looking wood, too.

I swear I had sent for it a couple minutes before, Steve... :D My first thread here, over two years ago, was about wishing for an HI Skean Dhu. Finally got one! Will post pix.

Glad you got it bud! I've been trying to find an antique one,but have been unsuccesful. I may have to get an HI. A scotsman without one is just wrong.:)

And whoever got that chainpuri is extremely fortunate. It's one of the most graceful but deadly looking in the HI line.:thumbup:
