Somebody snag that boomerang. That mark on the handle is from the taped on label they ship with. Don't let that stop you from getting that beautiful knife.

nice m43 :) sweet - only if it were in wood ;) soon, i'll just order one.

the boomerangs, wow.

The Boomerang has a nice silhouette - almost looks as though one could throw it and have it arc gracefully back to rest after its flight (probably not recommended, though - don't try that at home). I will put it on the "wanted" list.

That boomerang is nice- even the handle is curved gently. Could someone enlighten me, though, as to why it is a 'boomerang', and not a Hanshee?
A boomerange is a hanshee with extra curve?

Here is the description of the Bura "Boomerang" from the HI website:

similar to the above 'hybrid': -- a one-of-a-kind by kami Bura, originally described as "Bura's version of a forward-curving khukuri". I call it the "Bura boomerang" - hanshee curves, 18" overall, 5" drop.

That's the best looking Sarge knife I think I've ever seen. Easy to know why it's long gone now.
People used to fight over the Hanshee. (boomerang) I'm surprised it's still there.

And the little Balance model? I've got one exactly like it and love it. It will outchop any blade its's size. I had a bunch of kids in Kukri Klinic, and they had biltons. They were pecking away at a pine log. When the session was over, you could see where they'd taken the bark off and scratched the tree. The Bilton was digging in, actually chopping. Or should I say, "nibling'?

Thanks for the quotes, Eric006.

Really nice boomerang, if I wasn't saving for something else I would grab it in a heart beat.

That balance is almost identical to the one I have (and reviewed, if anyone is interested). Great working knife in a compact package.
