I never heard of the Dukti Sword before. Are they more Ceremonial or what was the history of these swords???

First Dukti I have seen with carved horn I think. All the rest were chandan. Beautiful work. If it were wood I might be tempted, but then again I'm probably not giving it a chance.

I am going to have to lay off the sharking for a while, so and I think Mike (Ad Astra) is being limited at work as well, so I leave it to you new guys to take up the slack!

Remember, a knife a week, that's all we ask! :D

Who got that Salyan? Mine was only 18 ounces - too light for any real work in this size, but it would make for a nice weapon. I'm curious to hear how much improvement another four ounces makes.
 
It's sooo tempting, That dainty Sirupati is a looker.:D

A beautiful BGRS by Bura arrived today and another one is on the way. The bevel along the spine kind of crooks a bit off to one side but it is otherwise perfect in my mind. I'll probably fix it later by draw filing the lesser side to even it up.

The thing feels so... alive!

Oh go ahead and get that GRS. It's a nice swing weight for a 22 incher. Everyone HI lover needs at least one in his/her collection.

BrentH, Look at it this way. Where else can you get a handmade sword for $200? Great snag sir. And as you say, $200 is a drop in the bucket after paying for a wedding. You deserve it!:)
