I was looking for change under the couch cushions for that one...

:p

been waiting to snag one of these for a looong time. I don't have any change under the couch for it, but I'll find some somewhere...

Funny how things work out. I just sold a 21" horn GRS and there have been very very few of them available in that size, and here a week later we have one in that range for the first time in quite a while. Bura is still at it...

my resolve to not purchase a pen knife until after christmas is weakening each time one appears on the DOTD. I'm definitely going to hold out for a wood-handled one, though.

I just like wood.

Dayng. I hate when they hang out like this. I'm dying to purchase 3-5 of these babies. Can you say Christmas time?

That is a very regal looking Pen Knife. Nicest one I've seen. And for $65? PPK - perfect pen knife.

I was noticing the same thing. I double checked the specs, and at 12" and 12 oz. it is right at the normal size for that model, but seems longer and thinner somehow. Has a much nicer look to it. I have a couple in horn, regular and villager, but they don't have quite that appearance. Maybe it's just the pic, but in any case it's a great snag for someone.

Skydog, when I was in college and living in an apartment off campus I had at least 3 Khukuri's with me and around 12 other knives. In the dorms I only had "Camp" knives up to about 12" long. If you are on campus, don't risk it. If you are off campus, I'd say go for the knife. Those Gelbu Specials are cool!

Thats my problem right there. If its anywhere close to being something us dumb college kids can even think about hurting ourselves with, we're not allowed to have it in the dorms.:grumpy: (This includes dry ice 'explosive devices' that students throw out their windows and cause an uproar that only ends when the Atlanta bombsquad is called out.:foot: ) Some genious in the state legislature decided that 2 inches:( should be the blade limit at all GA colleges, even the ones smack in downtown, so I'll hafta wait til at least next year unless i keep it under lock and key.

That is of course, assuming that the administration hasnt forseen an outbreak of some kind of strange flu at the CDC and call all students to watch out for the zombies.:D

Dayum that 22inch GRS an' that AK are killin' me! I could afford one if I bypassed the wife's Christmas gift...I'm sure she'd understand...

I can't freakin' believe those are still available!!

Sell the couch!:D

There are several students right now that are going trough some tough times due to bad choices in cutlery on campus. One guy had just a wooden letter opener.
If there is even a remote chance that it is not allowed and you want to stay on campus/out of jail don't do it.
