I have been trying to get an 18"AK for AGES...
I want a HI that is as good a chopper as my KH Aitihasik, but my YCS's grip is WAY too big for my hands, and too nice to sand down!
All the HI's I have, and not ONE good 18" chopper!!!
I wonder how the WWII chops??? I do not have one of those either...

I agree I really would LOVE a thinner handle YCS that is built to the original standard. Plain handle would be fine:thumbup:

Nice snag Albpm! That's the one I wanted. I don't have any WWII's in that size. Nice handle and bolster.

ALBPM, you realize you've got a bit of the Forum's history on that blade you've sharked? Initials there both for Uncle Bill, and Rusty. The WWII was their favourite blade, IIRC.
