Normally, seeing pins in the handle indicates that it's a Chiruwa-style (full tang) construction; is that true for the M-43s? I didn't see it specifically stated on the HI Web site, but that's how it looks to me.

Thank you for buying the m-43. Not quite what I am looking for but it was very tempting.

David,
That's the way it goes. We got a JKM-1 with Montana antler scales, beautiful-a gem of a bulletproof HI Leuko-Pukko like knife, with a just so useful curve along the handle to spine for skinning-n-stuff. I had some nice neck sheath plans for it but, As soon as it got here, my girls decided it was too nice for me and definately mom should have it for her edc...but...but...but! no buts dad!
sheesh, now I have to find another:)

Thanks Yangdu !

wow yangdu ships fast. i have my mini ak an it is one cool little knife. bit small for gip, though.

Mark,
You should have seen the reactions after I got my Microtech - every single day my siblings pester me about it! Almost makes it not worth it... but no, it is worth it - talk about a cool toy!
I might give the JKM to my mom, it really would make a great knife for her, I think.
