You can still send an email for a gool. Sometimes Yangdu has more then one and will sell them for the same price as the dotd.

All the of small HI knives are great deals and work horses.

Skyler,
I did send another email requesting the next Bura Gool. Yangdu had one in the shed that she is shipping today.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Andy,
That's a beautiful Gool, I love that Himalayan hardwood. I use mine all the time, it's a really tough knife. I cut tar paper and roofing shingles last year and that baby stayed sharp:thumbup:

Strange there are so far no takers on the 18 inch 28 ounce Sirupati by Sher?

Tempting indeed if it lingers...

Lots of us already have one. I did get one of Sher's Gelbu Specials during the benefit for his medical expenses. But I have so may huge honkin gigantus mongo blades I don't know where to put then all.

I must say that I really like the R-10. Might pick up another one and maybe a gool. But I'm just out of the market for any more mongo blades.

Howdy everybody--I'm still lurking in the shadows, like a thief in the night. :D

Email sent on Ganga Ram blade

Good for you. BGRS make excellent choppers. Any ideas of what type of handle you're going to make for it?

I might go non-traditional as I have so many traditional versions. Think I'll order a 1.25" diameter micarta stick and see how frisky I feel. :)

Hope you were in time for the dotd 2/19 and got the Gool?

Also seems someone else liked Sher's Sirupati too. Hope they enjoy it!
