Beautiful . That wood on the Boomerang is very nice.

E-mail sent on bowl of dried chilli's : )

That boomerang AK is breathtaking! It looks like the love child of a CAK and an M-43. Great stuff:)!

1. Interesting thick buttcap on that Pen knife. (I like the peppers display, too.)

2. I'm curious: can anyone tell us more about Daar wood?

3. Vim Bhadur seems to be cranking them out lately! My minimal experience indicates that his work is good, though with just a few more of the hand-forging irregularities than you'd see from, say, Bura or Raju Rasaili or Sher or Kumar. Though I must quality that by saying that I have yet to find time to go and give a Vim knife the usual "chop-it-into-a-log-and-lean-on-it-hard-a-few-times" test to make sure it holds up. No reason to believe it won't do just as well as the other H.I. knives I've used.

Lookin forward to the pen knife Yangdu.
The BAS is awesome. I'm told from the
other guys these are addictive. We'll see...

These cayenne peppers came from my next door neighbor lady lizard's garden and they are not hot as I would like to have so when I cook chicken, beef curry and potatoes (alu ko tarkari) I will have to use few droops of after death habaneros sauce.

If you get the time, could you post the recipe?

Is this one still available?

"15 inch 25 ounce Tin chirra by Vim Bhadur Kami. Satisal wood handle. Best buy at $115 YBB."

I'm about to break my Khukuri cherry and this knife looks like a fine one to break it on.

Also, please forgive the newb question. What does YBB mean?

Oh hell, might as well get the 9 inch as well if still available, will make a nice "letter opener"

Welcome to the forum:)

Yangdu is going to be out on vacation for a few days. I would shoot her an email at himimp@aol.com. She'll get back with you as soon as she is back and in the swing of things. "YBB" stands for "Yangdu's Best Buy";)

Once again, welcome:)

She'll be back the 7th;) She said to save out pennies, so we just might be in for a great sale when she gets back to things this week. I'm sure it'll be more than worth the wait;)

I really need a "great sale!" I just bought an ACOG rifle scope the other week during a "great sale..."

Steely sent ya an email
