Best looking SARGE I've seen in a while.

Very, very nice. I'm going to have to pick up one of those boomerangs one day.

Very nice blades today Yangdu :o

I really like the spine of the Boomerang with that "notch" when the curve is the most important.
(ok, I don't really know how to say it but you know what I mean)

Is it just me, or have they really started to graduate that PK angle a little more fluidly? Granted, I only have my one to compare it to, but mine has a sharp break at the spine like an AK. I really, like the looks of that one. If it was sporting a wood handle, I would be VERY tempted.

Vim keeps cranking out the Boomerangs and Tin Chirra's.

Gotta wait for the right one.

I am new to this HI forum as I just discovered it a couple of weeks ago and I am really enjoying it. These knives are a link to another culture which I am finding very interesting. As a side note, my wife's cousin and her husband, both Americans, settled in Nepal about 25 years ago and now lead a very different live style then most of us can imagine. Sometimes I regret that I didn't try some wild adventure like this when I was younger, so now for me, reading and learning about these things is next best. Anyways, last week I jumped right in and got a nice WWII and yesterday I grabbed the Pen Knife and the Sarge. The WWII is a villager model made by Yuvraj Kami and it is very sharp and appears well put together. I will try it out shortly. Now I will get to my point, sorry for the monologue above. If anyone has experience with the Pen Knife or Sarge Knife models I would really like to hear about it. Thanks for all the good info so far.

You've gotten two of the...er....ten or so?...knives designed by H.I. Cantina members, approved by Bill Martino, sent off to Nepal, and made part of the H.I. line.

Dan Koster designed the Pen knife, sent it around the country, having folks test and comment on it before it went into production. As I recall, he got a fair amount of compliments on the shipping box he designed for it, as well as for the knife. This was before he began his own knife-making business, in addition to all his other gainful activities.

Kismet,
Thanks for the info regarding the Pen and Sarge. I had no idea of their history and that your design was immortilized with the Sarge. I received them yesterday and hope to try them out soon; I am hoping they perform as good as the look.
