The pics really don't do the beauty of the carvings on the scabbard justice.

ah, thank you. that was to tempting...

but i cannot buy anything like this for ... a while yet. between jobs. just dropped big $$$ on car, computer, health, and so forth.

it's probably time to inventory my hobbies and liquidate more goods. mostly for "cleaning out the attic", i've got way too much stuff; some good, some just trash, and i want it all gone, gone gone, if i can.

then i can buy more stuff ;) [george carlin joke]

I haven't received a response yet; hopefully soon. My other Falcata doesn't have the fancy sheath, but the blade is engraved with a dragon. The bad thing about having one that well decorated is that it's too nice to ever use.

The unadorned khukri-like sheath is sort of funny looking; when sheathed, the shape of the handle and plain black sheath makes the rig look a lot like an umbrella.

I got the Falcata by Vim Kami; payment sent. Yeah, there was this feeling that it reminded me of something, but I couldn't quite place it, at least until the next time it rained.
