Just emailed Auntie that if I don't get the Tamang I'm taking the Teardrop instead :D:thumbup:

Sure looks like a Hanshee, wonder why the new name? Teardrop kind of rolls off the tongue quite nicely but I was just getting good at remembering Hanshee, now a new piece of data to store in an already overfilled cranial server.

Did that impress you IT guys. I know the lingo, ya know?

I can't tell from the glare in the photo, but I know the last couple sold as teardrops had the teardrop shaped fullers on the blade.

Bawanna, it's called a Teardrop because it has a teardrop-shaped fuller, but from my understanding, it's basically a Teardrop Fullered Hanshee? Can't remember details but I read about it before. Karda had/has a video on the youtubes cutting up some pumpkins with one. Don't know if it's still up or not, but I couldn't find it in my few minutes of looking.

If I remember correctly, the first one was a special order, possibly based off something the person had seen before? Details are very fuzzy.

Steve? Lol

Long gone on the Tamang but I got a done deal on the teardrop

Got that Tamang, Phillll. I'm sure you will get the next one. This one will be a backpacking buddy of mine.

That big hanshee that Karda did the video with was called a teardrop-i also believe because of the fuller shape

I'd love to know how it handles, especially what kind of balance it has. I've long been interested in the Hanshee, and these teardrop hanshees are quite appealing.

Email sent on the foxy folly, this is my first time buying so I hope I did it right!:p I've wanted a Himalayan Import so bad!

Actually if it's long gone she'll usually tell you she has another. I'm confident this is your lucky day as she seems to have a few of these on hand. I can feel it in my cells.

It's a great little knife, I was very impressed with it when mine arrived.

What Mr. B said is the usual standard, but there has been several times where auntie may have forgotten to tell me she had another.

But, of course, I would ask, and sometimes, she would indeed have another.

It was long gone, but she did tell me she had another and it's gonna be shipping out monday:D these have been on my list for the longest time but something always comes up. These blades really do seem "magic"
