That cleaver keeps saying "yes, yes" while my pocketbook is saying "no, no". I will get one eventually, but not today. I still have an unused Hanshee by Bura. Need to give myself strength by taking it out and admiring it.

Beautiful offerings today lads. The Samsher is awesome, and that BGRS has the widest belly I've seen on a GRS in some time. That Kapur wood is beautiful too.

Bwray- these beauties are hard to look at and not touch. That Samsher is calling.

You know, you have one of the best shark strategies I've ever seen; get a group of forumites reading a political thread in the Cantina while Yangdu is busy posting DOD here in HI proper. Lowers the numbers here just a little.

All of today's stuff looks great.

I know, I know, I have enough, but couldn't resist the D Handle plus the scrimshaw. I have been on the 'resist' program for a while. :o

Yangdu is really putting out some nice and new items. And the photography is fabulous.

Although the timing was accidental today, it really did work and you might see it again sometime. Throw out some bloody meat and some bones and slip quietly out the other side of the boat. We could call it sharkbaiting.:D

After the Dui Chirra on Saturday, I promised my wife a moratorium on blades. For the sake of my marriage, will somebody please buy these! ;)

I love it!

That Samsher is killing me... alas, no funding this month.

Argh.

Bullet Bowie make John talk like pirate.

Just don't start dressing like this, John:D

The Munk Chunk Cleaver is great. The one offered today is actually heavier than mine. Mine came in a 32oz and is a handful. However, once you get used to it, it's a great knife that feels like it forged out of depleated uranium. I really enjoy mine. It's actually starting to eclipse my prized AK bowie as my favorite 15"er.

Email sent for Munk Cleaver. Did I mention I hate you guys?

Have a bura AK bowie + kuma's version.

Also love lamb roasts. AK's take turns @ bone chopping.(avoid sibling conflict) Have learned a getaround for curved blade is to position meaty offering to the edge of chopping board.

Granted lamb is small stuff compared with more substantial beasts. But the thought of slamming a .5" 34oz brute of a blade
through a carcase is appealing. (must be a sicko)

Someone may be holding out/ or it's mine:eek:
