@arbiter: I DID!!! Thank you for the good vibes, man; I can't tell you how crushed I was that I missed the last villager Sirupati. But, as my brother told me, it wasn't meant to be, and the One was surely going to come along at some point. And here she is. Extremely, extremely excited. My first HI kukri. To be honest, I actually got into the market because I'm searching for a going-away gift for a chef-friend of mine, but this is so gorgeous (and simpatico with my martial arts background) that I think I'm going to have to get a second one to be his gift. : )
 
Congrats Kodiak-I think you are going to like that knife.At 19.5" and 25 oz. it has an excellent length to weight ratio and should be a great fighter. Be careful though,these things are extremely addictive. Enjoy!
P.S.-I know what your talking about being disappointed at missing the last villager Siru.That was the most tempting Sirupati I have seen here-chiruwa handle set up like an ASTK.Magnificent blade.Your brother is correct though-yours will find you.Joe.
