Great job by Tirtha today! I hope that "curvaceous" M-43 goes to someone who will really use the heck out of it! (and hopefully post a review later )

R.J. Jones should be checking out the M-43; it would be a good one for his brother.

I was thinking the same thing! This would be a very nice 1st kukri. Look how nicely Tirtha rounded the handle!!

Farm knife is all mine :D

This model didn't speak to me until I handled one in person. My brother bought one for Xmas for his woman and I handled it and THEN I started to dig it.

It's a sort of a short dao kinda thang.

Groovy

I scored the wool hat! I told Auntie that all winter long my son wouldn't keep his hat on and I think he won't want to take this one off. Someone needs to grab that M-43. It's numbers are about the same as mine, which should give it a spine between 5/16 and 3/8 inch. That curve is like my Malla/B-43 and it feels great in the hand. Take care and God bless

I love my Farm knife. The Farmcata doesn't appeal to me at all; but I haven't seen one in person.

Email sent on M-43.

Thank you for posting on the M43.
I was trying to do the math and see if I could survive and get the M43 when your post came through. Now I can wait for a better time.
Sometimes there's just too many nice knives and not enough payday:)

Wolf, I'm not 100% sure but in checking out past threads on the model I think you may have the lightest one yet at 22 oz. Should handle even better as the length / weight ratio will be closer. I also love the wood handles on these. I snagged a horn one a while back because I was afraid of missing one, but looks like they're still coming strong.

Great snag for you!

I sharpened the one my brother bought and it took a scary edge.

His girl enjoys it.

She uses it as a kitchen knife.
