Here's a question, just out of curiosity. Do they hand chisel the dragon design on the blade? Or is there like a stamp deal? Keep in mind I know very little about the actual making of any blade. Just a collector!

Voodoo, everything is hand carved and carved freehand!!!! Amazing work for anyone and way beyond my understanding, that steel is getting pretty danged hard close to the edge!!!! I would love to go to Nepal and just see how things are made starting at BirGhorka and continuing out from there.
Besides if I were able to do that and talk to the kamis just think of the new things in the way of knives and other bladed instruments they would soon be shipping out!!!!:thumbup:
Of course I'm not the only one with that kind of talent as there are several others that could do just as good a job as I could, only thing is is that most of the kamis already know who I am, that is if they haven't forgotten.
