Wow.....
All these pieces look exceptionally well done.
A polished CAK you don't see too often and the Chainpuri AK is new to me.
Some Tru oil on the wood handles of the ASTK and Bowie and they would look like a million dollars, i bet.

Is the ASTK model; considered a "Field Use" or "General Use" khukri? I think it may have been released after the warranty revision (6/15/2009); it's not on the "Field Use" list, but I don't know if that's intentional or not.

I think i could safely say that it would be a Field Use khukuri, as it is a Chiruwa. It wouldnt be a prybar like the CAK though. It's something i've been meaning to ask Auntie. To be sure i will shoot her an Email.

I would guess that the ASTK is a field use knife. Mine is THICK and workhorse-ish.

I love that AKB. I've lusted after a wood handle version for years. I'm going to let this one marinate....might be back to snag it;)

It has been confirmed by Auntie Yangdu,
The ASTK is Warranted for Field Use and has been added to the Warranty.

You have a child coming. Go build a crib. :)

I've been wanting to get something for my girlfriend's son who is deploying in Aug. I like the AK Bowie... I think it'd serve him well, but will have to wait for now.

If I had noticed it had a Dhar wood handle, matilda never would have beaten me to the draw. :)

Nice grab matilda! I have an older one with a horn handle and it is one of the nicest cleavers you will ever use.

I really couldn't afford it, but that Dar wood, and the fact that I love the feel of the AK bowies, had me thinking that if it was still there, I was going to go for it.

Glad Matilda got it and saved me some real financial trouble!
