It appears so, good eye Jens. Mine is about an inch shorter in handle. I thought the overall was slightly longer.

I personally prefer the original design (Especially the rehandled one that make use of the steel estate at the end of the handle).

At $60 per box for Intl shipping I'm so glad Auntie accept to stack blades and ship them together when I can no longer stand the craving for opening a triangle box.

You will like it. They are like the crack of blades. Instantaneous addiction the first time you hold one in your hands. The only Bowies I own are from HI.

As the grand Bowie Poo bahh! We will be having Texas tours to the Alamo where you can have all your bowies autographed by the ghost of Jim Bowie and even Davy Crocket if he happens to be there that night. I think the Ghost of Santa Anas leg may be there somewhere too? The Alamo was probably 100 degrees today btw!

Only know the Alamo from movies. Now with the Bowie I guess I really have a good excuse to visit the real one.
So far all I've seen of Texas is the Panhandle, Amarillo and Paloduro canyon. A very nice part of the country btw. Beautiful landscape and super friendly people.
