This baby Hasiya is carried by the Rai women of Nepal as a means of protection. This baby Hasiya comes in a round wood scabbard with a white metal chain to be worn around the waist like a purse. All made by Dharan kamis. There are no mark on these blades. This is a perfect gift for your loved one or for your own collection.

Thanks for such an interesting tool/weapon Yangdu.:thumbup: :D Will you describe how the wood disk scabbards are made?
Are they two pieces of wood glued together or carved out of one solid piece?

These are really neat little knives and the very first time that I know of that they have been offered, better snap 'em up quickly guys and gals!!!!:D :p ;)
 
I'm thinking about giving this one to my wife. Not sure how she'd react. If I wake up with it imbedded in my back, I'll have my answer...

The wood disk scabbards are made of one piece wood.
