27 inch 27 ounce Himalayan Sword by Bura. The handle and scabbard are water buffalo horn with a little frog that you can hang on your belt. Excellent work by Bura. Only problem is about 5 minutes worth of rust removal on blade. Take it home for $165 YBB. *SOLD*

Beautifully done 23 inch 43 ounce Bagh Bhairab ceremonial Khukuri by Sher. Chandan wood handle. $175 YBB

17 inch 27 ounce Foxy Folly by Sher. Usual fine work by Bura. The thing that put this one in the blem box is an epoxy repair crack in chandan wood handle. $100 YBB. *SOLD*

16.5 inch 26 ounce villager WWII by Murali. Horn handle. Superb rig for $90 YBB. *SOLD*

13 5/8 inch 14 ounce chandan wood handle Pachthar by Bura. This scabbard is made of satisal wood wrapped round with bamboo threads. Fine work by master kami. Only problem is 5 minutes worth of rust removal. Yours for $95 and a pretty decent deal this is.

13 inch 12 ounce Sherpa Crow knife by new Kami Vim. Satisal wood handle. Well made Knife. For good home $90 YBB. *SOLD*

Well you know, the FF, the JKM, or the Kumar Karda could each make a fine addition ... but the wife and I just had "the talk." It's gonna hafta be the kids' summer camp, not knife money.
 
The Foxy Folly done right at 17" and 27 ounces. I like this though:

for the experts: how much does a folly differ from the blade in the big YCS kit? shape/weight/etc... i otter know, but well, i don't.

Shadowchaser, good for you! That is a nice one. Anyone else notice the unique handle on that KK? First I have ever seen with handle rings. At least it looks that way to me without a close up. I would have tried for that had I been around.

Odd that Yangdu didn't update the SOLD banners. I was getting all excited that the Karda was still available.
 
Hehe, no problem Steve. Be sure to let me know when the next auction is, as I've picked up so many knives and swords lately I'm running out of space. I might have some items for it. And I was silly enough to think that the falcata would be the last sword I bought.
