20"; that's exactly what I was thinking Hollowdweller. That CR carries it off- something the size of a working khukuri but looks and has the style of a Bowie type 'knife'.

This is beyond cliche- but 'now this is a ....." really does apply.

The malla has quickly become one of my favorites. I love the flat spine and the way it handles. Mine is 17", but I think one in 21" or 25" would be a real winner as well.

Two other observations; The blade on that WWII looks exceptionally well done. My 18" WWII is good, but the blade does not look that symmetrical.

Also, someone should snap up that 15" siru. Of the various sirupati sizes I have, the 15" is by far the nicest balanced, and for $55 you cannot go wrong! (Besides, mine is wood and in another 10 minutes I'll decide it has to have a mate...)

That CR really does not look as big as it is- even next to familiar khuks for scale.

Svashtar- I'm with ya' on the Malla. I have a wood handle by Kumar and I love it. It just feels good. :)

I'm still looking for a WWII, but nice as it is, this one ain't it. :p
