Pala is looking GOOD!

I thank you for the picture and I hope you and he are enjoying you time together.

Hey Warty if you ever get tired of that 30" Sirupate you bought let me know, I think you have plenty of blades ;), Nice!

That HAUSWEHR sure looks sweet!

Bleh, I was about to get that wajaski, have been looking for one for a long time. Congrats, hope you enjoy it:)

Thanks, Brother! I didn't get there first by much. I've been wanting that style of blade for a while. Since I gave my Katana to my daughter. The price was right and the cause good and it's by BURA!

There will be another, I hope you get there first.

Folks here are such good sports! Gotta love this forum.

Notice Pala holds those like he knows how to use them, and isn't hesitant about doing so. Looks like he'd cut you from yer neck to yer nertz before you could blink.

Dang, those Tamang go fast. if I ever decide to get another, to go with the one I have, I'll have to call Auntie and request one.
That Tamang has some nice looking Satisal.
When I ordered mine, they didn't seem to be selling so well. Mine was orphaned, at the shack, all alone. Now, they seem to fly out the door faster than they come in. I'd say word has gotten out about how good they are.
I wouldn't sell mine for a thousand dollars. Way too well engineered/made, and too hard to replace, thanks to the sharks around here.

Well, I just want one Tamang of each different handle type....

I now have Dhar, Neem and Saatisal... so Horn and Mtn Walnut,. Monkey Pod Wood, Chandan, Various types of Antler... we;; I think you get the picture. So, if she posts one I have, then perhaps it will be around a bit longer...

14 inch 19 ounce Ang Khola by Dil Kami. Dharan stag horn handle. Experimental handle Knife at $58 YBB.

I'll take it. Sending email as soon as I finish posting this.

Edit: Email sent.

The tamangs do appeal to me. I like the simplicity, I like the stick tang, I like the straighter blade. It's just a matter of time.

I sent an email on Der Hauswehr earlier today; waiting to hear if it's still available. The handle looks longer than some of the early ones; I like it.

I received notice that Der Hauswehr is mine!! Of course, I don't "need" it, but I have a pretty good-sized collection of HIs (including several swords), so I wanted to get the newest. That there don't seem to be a whole lot of Hauswehrs out there is a pretty big plus as well. Payment sent, now to just sit back and wait for it to arrive.

I'm shocked no one has picked up that 16.5" horn handle CAK. If I didn't have a 16.5" CAK allready myself I'd snatch this up and put some other knives on hold.

KR,

Congrat's on getting that Wajaski ... one of the nicest I've seen! ;)

I hope you can write up your impressions of it in the future please?
