Nice, I got my Khadka DC today. It is beautiful, the only real downside is there are no markings on it whatsoever. I knew he did not use a personal mark, but I figured there would be HI or UB markings on it. Sadly, nothing. How does one even know it is a Khadka short of the superior workmanship?

If still available. I'll take it. Thanks CAT

Sgt. Khadka doesn't work for HI. Sometimes HI will buy some of his work and offer them to us. All the kamis have their own style, it can become fairly easy to see what kami made which kukri without seeing their mark.

Yes I did notice how wide the pins are on Sarge's khuk. It is a beauty, not complaining so much as observing. I'm glad I bought it!

It's like Ranger knives or steriles Busse/Swamp Rat or others.

If you know the knives in question, you don't need a logo or a mark to know what it is.

Well after really looking it over last night I must say there is one thing I'm particularly disappointed in, and it hurts me to say it. The pins are not flush with the handle on both sides. On both pins there is a protrusion from the handle. Not a lot, but enough to feel and the edging on the pin is sharp. If used to chop I could definitely see them cutting the hand with impact. Looks like I'll need to work on the protrusions to smooth the edges off, but I'm not sure how to do that without running the risk of marring the handle of the khuk. :(

I guess I could try a polishing attachment to my dremel and try to ever so slightly work on the pins.

Sounds like the wood/horn shrank a little. Give the handle a little oil and it should help.

I don't think so, though I can try. One pin protrudes from one side, the second pin from another. Both pins have one flush side, just not the same side.
