My kumar karda is one of my favorite knives. I wish I could afford this one by Sher the tiger. They are fantastic knives.

You guys know what that BDC is right? Wont ever be another one like it. Chandan (Sandalwood) is now banned for trade is US. BDC means Bura Daily Carry and yes designed by Bura himself. That deep red wood is gorgeous! If i hadnt just bought a Bura right now id snag that puppy in half a second. I certainly hope that goes to one of us family sharks! Aunti dug deep for that one.

For its size and weight, if I get it, I will most likely make a kydex sheath for it and make it my hiking/mountaineering knife.

It is a great size. I have a 12" AK made by Bura which is similar to the BDC. The BDC looks more like a mini Dui Chirra. I like the drop that one has. I bet its very comfortable.

Love that Chainpuri. Looks light and fast (and stabby). The Kumar Karda has always been one of my favorites. Very handy camp style knife. I've used it for cooking several times too.

Woke up this morning and had a dream about the Karda...... decided to take ndoghouse's advice and ems auntie for the12 inch 15 villager fit and finish Kumar Karda by his big brother Sher the (tiger). Chandan wood handle. I have no chandan wood in my young collection.
