Great selection! Something for everybody. Heavy choppers, light fighter, medium all round, and of course a very collectible sword. I think there are 3 or 4 fellows who were waiting for this DOD!

That's to bad to hear about Sher. Hopefully everything is alright with him.

Wonderful gelbu, someone is going to be very happy with it.

Ditto on the news about Sher.... Hope he's OK and we learn more.

Email sent on the Kobra- any HI khukuri under $50 is a deal worth pouncing on ;) and Vim's work is excellent.

edit: YOWZA! Kobra's goin' fishin'.

...and the Kobra arrived today- usual lightspeed shipping. ;)

A nice knife- gray horn streaky handle- had to look for the crack. Superglued it.

Edge was super dull. :p I was too tired to get out the belt sander so used one of those stone-on-a-stick axe sharpeners. Lo and behold, there was a nice edge profile hiding under the dull which came from putting the mirror polish on. Freshened it right up.

Vim is making a nicely hardened edge. Now sharp, I hacked a trespassing bush to shreds- it's flat on one side now- then used it to edge grass.

Tx, Yangdu. The khuks are as good as ever. Vim's an excellent kami!
