p.s.: I like 'em plain and honest, asked Aunt Yangdu for one with plain wood handle, white metal furniture, and unpolished blade if possible. This one don't match that description, but it sure comes closer than the snazzy antler handled ones of late. Flashy blondes might be pretty, but give me a sweet brunette that can cook. ;)

I have owned a pile of KK's, and that is the first smooth wood model I have ever seen. Very nice. I agree with Sarge: white metal fittings and a standard bolster (optional) and that handle and HI couldn't make them fast enough.

Man, you have to post some pics of that. If I was'nt saving for a dentist visit right now, I would have been all over that. I have been waiting for a 20" chiruwa AK for awhile. Dang teeth, why do you have to be cleaned!!:(

ah, yes. i was waiting too, and on the last few 20-22" AK/GRSs that went by. i can live in a box if i have to, or a shelter i got for myself.

dang, this is a big thing. balance is good, it's razor sharp. wow. suhWHEAT! sheat fit is superb too. this thing wants to chop something for sure. need me to find some time with a tree to test some edges. oh boy.

was wishing it was a foxy-folly, but i figure this thing is the pry-bar of the gods :}
