Email sent on the M-43.

Note: The posting says "18 inch 28 inch". I'm assuming that it meant to say "18 inch 28 oz".

Veeery tempting that M43! I got the Karda and looking forward to see it in real life. My new "standard" belt-knife I hope.

The YCS Karda is a fantastic stand-alone knife. I know that I really enjoy the one that came with my YCS. I made it a simple little sheath for belt use, and it's been fantastic. The only reason I don't use it more is that I gravitated toward a Fiddleback Woodsman as my belt knife, so the YCS Karda stays at home most of the time. Still, a fantastic blade:)

Are those that come with the YCS as large as "11? And 11oz!

Wow, looks like I missed the perfect M43 (yet again). David, give us a review when you receive it.

Pialia: "Nice grab! That [M-43] sure is a beauty."

I know that you guys, and others, have been -- like me -- lusting after a lightweight M-43. I hope that more like this one are coming down the pike. Bhakta does great work and he seems to be the M-43 specialist among the kamis these days. I'm glad I held off trying for one of his 38 oz monsters, though I was sorely tempted.

I will do a review after I receive it. I have an ASTK of the same weight, so maybe I can compare them. I haven't been set up to take and post photos but I'll make an effort to correct that.
