Nice snag Joe, that Dharane siru is something new, quite dig the simpler embellishments on the sides of the blade.

Thank you Leo...I have as of yet not gotten the confirmation email from Yangdu...I am really surprised I was able to jump on it..since around 45 minutes have passed since Yangdu Posted...I guess most people are eating dinner...:-)...thanks again..

Nice Siru Joe. I wonder if a Siru of that lengthand weight is the closest to a bolo/machete HI makes. I have the same thought about a longer chit or kobra. Seems like it would be a good slasher for carving up trails through brush.

The last 3 look more familiar to me as brush clearing bolo/machete types. I have something similar to the second to the last. It was made in the PI and not even close to near the quality I've seen from HI. What are the weights and lengths for the last 3? The desert rose looks a bit heavy but looks can be deceiving. The straight razor looking machete with the curved grip looks interesting. I've seen two of those for sale in the recent months.

That siru is sharp! It looks a lot like a Kobra. I'd bet that's dark satisal, not horn though. That Vojpuri reminds me of a chiruwa BAS. I bet it's an awesome, packable sized, bomb-proof khuk.
