Ugh! The decisions! Wish there was a 16.5" ASTK, I'd buy that in a heartbeat. 18" is a bit too long for myself, although that design and the bagh bhairab are what I dream of khukuris being.

After a time of confusion with Kamis coming and going rapidly, which slowed
down my production, I can finally see some stabilization in HI's production.

I've REALLY been wanting to pick up an ASTK (or two)! Should have a little discretionary money towards the end of the month, but wonder if I can finagle the finances to participate in the "current event"? ;)

Any suggestions on whether I should get the 15" GRS or wait for an ASTK? Which one is rarer nowadays?

ASTKs have been the "flavor of the month", so to speak - they've been popping up quite a bit and have been pretty popular. On the other hand, it's been quite awhile since I've seen a GRS on a DotD. IMO, just get whichever calls to you more ;)

Ganga Rams are "rarer" certainly but owning both, I like the ASTK better for what I use it for... which is the real question that should be looked at here, what is it you want it to do?
