WHOOO HOOO finally the first one on the board after Yangdu posts. Unfortunately I'm broke. :grumpy:

Everything that's good in a H.I. khukuri is in that Jange... flat out gorgeous.

Man, that trisul looks awesome. I'll be so glad when the other half starts her "real" job next month. All my play money is tried up in making ends meet this month. <sigh> i'll be back in the shark tank soon enough.

That Jange has a buttcap, apparently. A Jange with a regular tang=excellent. I'm tempted on this one...

Got the horn katunje and have e-mail sent on baby dui chirra.
Hope to be giving these away to the couple who catches the biggest
fish at the annual family reunion at Leech Lake nest week ;) :)

Compared to prior Janges,
it also looks more slim & straight in profile;
but the same weight,
so a thicker blade.

& at that good 28+oz weight
fine for chopping.

Nice version.

Mmmmmm.......
Nah, not today.............

Yes, I noticed that as well. If I had been anywhere near my computer I would have tried for both that and the wood Katunje.

I hope we will see more of both. I waited and waited to get a Jange, and kept missing out, but when I finally got one it had "special USA wood" that was just gorgeous so I didn't mind the wait. It still is the prettiest wood of any knife I have. I hope a Jange like this one comes to me eventually.

You know we've been seeing alot of great, unique handles lately when you see

"Nepali satisal wood handle"

and think

"Hey, that's rare!" :D

Or maybe I'm just going insane from net withdrawal.
