Interesting, so yesterday's Santosh BC at 18" OAL weighs the same 33oz as today's Murali BC at only 16" OAL. Beefy spine, I am guessing and a lot of belly even for a BC.

Also, a very nice chit today, we haven't had those in a while; I just wish it was with a wood handle... which makes me wonder: where are the BC's with wood handles? Very rare since Sgt's work from 2008.
 
Yes I was sleeeeping zzzzZzZ ! Didn't think DOD would go off so early. I was talking to a customer. Argh !! That Chitlangi would have been the little brother to my Gelbu .
 
Nobody's taken the BDC yet? I just received mine yesterday; if it is a representation of the whole batch, then this one should be awesome.;)

Then again, one would be hard pressed to find a single un-awesome blade in the whole HI line-up. Variety is the spice of life.
 
That Bonecutter is only still there because of the horn handle. If it had been wood Yangdu's inbox would have selected the shark by a matter of seconds. As it stands I'm avoiding having a few more beers so I don't grab it and re-handle it in Cocobolo:grumpy:
 
I am probably just being a bit thick at this, but to contact Yangdu to place an order can I just use the Bladeforums contact feature above? I did that.

Since Yangdu's response time is well documented I figured I must have done something wrong so I have tried to send another email to her via the "ordering" instructions here by cutting and pasting given address but when attempting to send Yangdu at HIMIMP@AOL.com is not a valid addy.
I'm no doubt makin' this way too hard...or fate is saying I have too many sharp objects as it is, my head not being one of them.:confused:

EDIT: Okay, I just figured out the addy and yes I was being a bonehead. 'Yangdu at' is not part of the address. Doh!

Actually, it is far better to use the email address and go directly than to use the forum's email relay as it has been known to not go through sometimes when you go through the forum. So the very best way to shark what you want on a DOTD post is to simply post what you want so she can see what your after, then email her direct at himimp@aol.com and just wait. She usually gets back to you, if you shark while the waters are roiling, quickly. If you are a late comer, then you may need to wait a few hours to know whether or not you were successful. ;)
