I'd like this one, e-mail sent.

A few days ago I placed an order from a knife dealer and added a leather sheath to my cart despite not having a need for the sheath...until now. I think it's fate. I don't have it yet but I think the sheath is the perfect size for the Mountain Bowie. It's a Winchester sheath for a 14" bowie.

If it were my knife, I'd make my own sheath for it, just to complete the "handmade" villager-type karma.
Dangle sheathes are popular round here...
But, post a pic when you get things hooked up..

Sure, makes sense but I'm no sheath maker. Anyway, I'll post up a pic next week when I have the knife and sheath.

That sheath I mentioned wasn't a good fit but I had another that fits pretty good. I sharpened the knife. I'll probably take it with me on my next hike in a week or two.

The Sgt. CAK is awesome! I put it to work the minute I pulled it out of the box. I own a Sgt. Bonecutter also, and I agree that the handles are great.

Since this thread is still alive - I took the Mountain Bowie up Mt. Moosilauke in New Hampshire's White Mountains this past weekend. I roamed off the trail to test it out. I chopped through some fallen pine and birch. The grip was great. The knife bit deeply and there was no edge damage or degradation. I love HI. :)
