This 26.5 inch 27 ounce Dukti Sword is made by Vim bhadur kami who is an understudy of Bura and is doing very well. He likes doing the dragons and does such a good job. The blades has two dragon engraved on both sides. It has round brass guard. The handle , which made of Kapur wood, had one dragon carved entwined around the handle which gibes it a very exotic look. Today's Price $185.00 *SOLD*

Nice stuff up for grabs today, I would love to pick up the AK and the R-5 but sadly I don't have the money. :(

I am sure someone will be happy though. :)

I know, "cute" is probably not a term which comes up very often when describing a khuk, but I just couldn't help it.

The wife of a colleague is delivering a child today. Perhaps this one would make a nice gift - "Baby's First Khukuri." :)

Yangdu, any chance you could post a close up of the R5? I'm really tempted, but because they're so rare I'd like to get a better look first. I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
tmd

Thanks Skyler. Actually... no wait, too late. Sharks, I tell you, sharks! Next time.

*Edit: frogfish, good catch. Could you post pics when you get it? I'm curious to see if there were any minor changes from the first one or if it's basically the same. Hard to tell from the pic here - that's why I asked for another.

I don't know about that, Eric. Mine was dropped and dented the handle the day I got it and became a working knife. I carry it in my pocket chape up and it is really handy. I almost carved another fuller in it though batoning it through some wood with a hidden broken screw in it. Cute, well, yeah, kind of but also practical. You're gonna love it.

It will make a nice companion to the other little chainpuri I picked up last month. :)

E-mail will be sent momentarily, just have to type it...

Hi Yangdu,

I just sent you an email for the Dukti Sword.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Ted

The second R-5, (and at $20 off!) Glad to see it, although once again I should learn to never be the first. ;)

And the first Dukti in something other than chandan I believe. I think I like this one even more.

That Hanshee is right on the standard bura specs for that model, but Vim has added something to it for sure. Looks almost like a shallow central fuller? Cool looking affect.
