A kerambit AND stand for 75 bucks? !!
A YCS will a lil' rust for $145?!? !!

Man, these prices are steals. Grab em fellas. Save me from myself

Jake

The YCS looks exactly like the original bunch we waited so long for...

Sharks have it sooooo easy today.

Ad Astra :foot:

The 12" sirupati is one under-valued blade. Whoever got it is going to like it a lot. It's not a devastating chopper like a ganga ram, but one fast, light blade. Around the cantina, we call it a small khukri. Whip it out in public, and see what it's called. ;) Good pick.

i got this one :D ,

this will be my first real khukhuri (i have some coldseel's),
yes it is small, but i am sure that i am going to be very happy with it,

a few bigger kuks like the ganga ram and pen kuk are on my wish list,

Welcome to the Cantina/Psycho Ward Alex in Canada.:D
Unless you're just absolutely a colossal guy you won't need any khukuris over 18", that is unless you just want to.;)

Alex,
You won't be disappointed, I assure you. Welcome to the cantina. Please read the Safety thread at the top, if you haven't already :)
Your other 2 picks are also my favorites. The Pen is a super camping tool. The smaller ganga rams (Baby ganga ram specials-BGRS in cantina lingo) are awesome choppers. I've never swung a full-sized GR. Probly shouldn't at my age. :grumpy:

You didn't try mine at the Khonvention? Shame on you Brian! Next year, that is the only one we will let you swing!

;) :D

Ohhh!!! Two on the top of my MUST BUY list  The YCS and kermabit...

I'd say I'd take the kermabit.. but boy would I be in trouble :(

Alan

Alan you sould really see if you can find the money somehow, somewhere. That kerambit is a steal and a half! I paid twice that for mine and this one comes with a stand AND is antler:) Mine was worth every single penny. I wish i could afford another right now. I miss mine. It's getting a beauty treatment and sheath by Dan Koster right now. Me= :D :D :D

Jake

The last couple of specials have been fantastic. I wish that the rep system were in place...Yangdu deserves some rep in a big way. :(

Jake, I would be the timing is just bad. I've just started a second job to make ends meet and haven't gotten a full paycheck yet. I trust another will come along when the time is right... still, it sure is purty!

Alan

Me likey YCSs. Rust - no problem, this one will be a user.
It's meant to be  Funny thing, my two best user kukris are my beautiful YCS, and an alloy-handled villager that JP called the ugliest kukri he'd ever seen! :D The blade's the thing.

In my neverending quest to buy the lightest knife of each catagory ever offered in the DOTH, I bought the Kerambit.

Seriously, whenever I look back to see what other versions of the knive have been offered I notice that the one I bought is the lightest.

Examples:

12" 10oz. Village Pen Knife by Bura
16" 19oz. Village BGRS by Bura
15" 20oz. AK Bowie by Kumar
9" 9oz. Kerambit by Kumar

Are people just leaving these for me to buy because they look at them and say "too light, not for me" ? :-)
