Ahh I asked Yangdu if she had a DC over the weekend and she didn't, grabbed a Purna Foxy Folly instead. Whoever claims this one, congrats, it's GORGEOUS.

Musta just got a shipment in from Nepal? That happens. Them new Fox's are super foxy! Glad to see Purna making them! I cant pick a favorite Kami anymore with all the brothers and Purna and Thamar and all. Just class A plus talent going on here with HI now. FF pics:thumbup: I still dont have one. I found a friend of mine a Rajkumar FF once cause he was bummed for missing out on a Bura FF on auction and he did snag it. Ever since Ive wanted one. Saw some dude slice a gnarly chunk out of a piece of plywood and convinced me it was a worthy blade. I want a Purna FF now :thumbup:
 
ndog, if you wanna go on super stealth shark mode, there is most likely an 18" horn handle FF by Purna still. I passed it up and went for the 16.5". I'll post some pics of course, trying to decide if I wanna revive Dino's FF thread or start anew, don't wanna hijack this one though. She's got beautiful fullers and a curved spine. Looks like the sister blade to Dino's FF, with the exception of the sheath, his is way cooler. Mine came with a carved karda though, so we're even still :)

What I can tell you is that if by some miracle this DC is still here at the end of the day, it might be mine as well... I'm no good with temptation
 
Ha! Thanks SG! I hear ya! Temptations killin me on them FF's but i gotta wait. I just took a 20% pay cut on my job so im trying to be a good dog:D That 20% was my Khukri money:mad:

I want it so bad...Had a good day at work last Friday, made almost a weeks pay between 7am-4pm, then got OT B) Celebrated with the FF, but I suppose there's enough extra for a DC. I'm sending an email when I get outta work at 4, unless it gets snagged before then! That's my best attempt at self-restraint

Edit: Ems for Dui Chirra on my way home from work. Fingers currently turning blue from being crossed so hard

Thanks ndog, I was grinning ear to ear when I saw the email. The guys I was working with though I was crazy.

Here's a couple pics of the Foxy Folly. I didn't grab a close-up of the karda, which is gorgeous, but I'll grab one when I get pics of the Dui Chirra that's on the way.







 
Man! Thats awesome! Almost as Khul as your sox:D Cant wait to get me one! Purna is doing a great job on the new Foxy's although I bet Thamar could make them equally well. That ones next on my list brother! Thanks for them cool photos!
 
The Dui Chirra came yesterday and is even better in person than in pictures. The handle is amazing on both this one and the Foxy Folly, though I think I like the DC more. It's more round than the FF, which kinda has a shape like () as opposed to 0. That grip feels better for fighting, while the DC grip feels better for chopping and general use. Out of all the blades I have, this definitely the biggest handle by girth. Then there's cho... don't even get me started, it's too cool.
