The Kobra is tempting, but I am waiting on a longer one.

(The Sher Kobra from 04/14 was my very first HI blade. :))

Excellent prices on the Kobra and Sirupati- those won't last. Those new to HI take heed- IMHO the Sirupati especially would be an excellent, inexpensive start to a collection (heck, it's how I started mine). Light for carrying but a heck of a chopper. And what a Dui Chira!

Whoever buys that antler-handled JKM won't be sorry either. A handsome, practical knife.

Some more great deals. Unfortunately no AKs or WWIIs. It seems that these deals come when I can't get to a computer to check. :grumpy:

Great pick-up on that sword. I have so many khukuries that I have collected over the years that I rarely buy from HI anymore. I had promised myself that enough was enough. But I always check out the HI forums from habit and I can tell you that if you hadn't bought that sword, I was badly weakening. Great, great pick-up.

thanks, it will be my first sword, (if nobody beat me to it).

Oh my goodness. That sword is amazing. Look at all the inlay. What a beautiful piece.

Dui Chira for 185. Dui Chirra for 185.

What a deal.

Yes, the sword is elegant awesome, but that's a Sher blade with 6 tools.
I hope these deals aren't a sign of the end of the universe.

Yes, AND it's one of the new ones with a full tang. We went from hidden tang to a few pinned and now these. (Remember the hidden and pinned ones were going for $195! This is arguably stronger and less $.) Wish I could swing it.

I have one of the shorter ones about 21" that looks exactly like this with the inlay. Wish I could snag it's mate! But it looks as if it has gone to a good home.

Is it my imagination, or is the inlay getting better with practise?

It's about as smooth as a baby's rear end. (without the poop, or course.)

HI gets better, and I stay the same financially. This is not 'balance'.
