DD received.

Items on the way. I'd like to critique the new Kami's work for all my HI brothers and sisters.

bawanna also present and accounted for.

Also ran, 3rd place, I could go on and on.

Almost picked up the RL-1 (and beat BB). Beautiful knife, but not for me.

The Kobra is calling me....

That's a beauty of a Kobra for a fantastic price. Don't hesitate long, someone is going to snag it if not already.

I just got a 25" Kobra not long ago. This one looks really good. Right handy size and weight.

I think I can hear it calling you too. No roaming or long distance charges neither.

I say go for it.

Bawanna--you take any shots when you got that Kobra? You do look kinda sick.....

Well, not one to succumb to peer pressure.... but EMS on 18" Kobra. Had been hoping for something more in the 12" range, but think this one will do nicely :)

I don't think I've ever seen a posting for a 12" Kobra.

In case there's some confusion, in HI terminology, "length" means overall length, not blade length. This 18" Kobra will probably have a blade length of about 12".

Should have clarified... Was in the market for a 12" OAL khukuri... Sirupati probably.

18" overall is longer than I need, but this will become the "big one" (for now).

Since this is the smallest and lightest Kobra being made, it will do nicely :-) just waiting to hear back!

There are baby Kobras that come up in that size range along with Retis that are virtually identical but made out of a file. Lighting fast and sharp but strictly light duty or a weapon IMHO.

You might like the Pen Knife model, which often comes in the 12" OAL range and is a very robust blade. Here's one by Kumar Kami, 12.5" OAL and 18 oz.

Long time lurker... really want to start my HI collection. :)

I would like to purchase the Foxy Folly from Anil. Never grabbed one of the daily deals; what do I need to do next?

If you want to grab a daily deal, all you have to do is when you see the one you want you send an email to Yangdu at the address she always post at the end of her post.
Just say I'll take it. She'll get back to you with either a Done Deal and tell you how much the shipping cost is, or the dreaded Long Gone which means BigBore beat you.

If you get it you just paypal her the price plus shipping and do your happy dance. I'll do the happy dance with you.

Then folks usually make a post saying that they have emailed for a certain knife so others know that it's grabbed.

Sometimes Yangdu even has a second or even third she'll offer if we're lucky.
