Oooh Aaaah. That's a lovely, lovely take on the Khuk and Karda, no? Modern art.

The Kumar Karda draws my eye - whoever picked that one up will certainly have a helluva knife for the money.
 
That is a FINE looking UBE. I remember waiting a long time before buying one of these, because I thought they looked weird, you know, non-khukrish. Love it, though. Quite a chopper, too.

Great looking UBE up for grabs today. I am still unsure of the handle on the new JW FF, but it is surely well done, really love the sheath on it though.
 
I can't help but wonder what this new handle would look like on a Cherokee Rose...

Also, when I mentioned that this new handle needed a name I certainly didn't expect to have it to be named after me, especially considering how much of a forum ghost I am. Nevertheless, I consider it quite an honor to have a HI blade named after me. Thanks Yangdu!

That UBE was made for me. Just got my done deal reply.

There is definitely some powerful Ju-Ju with these blades, but that requires a thread of its own, at a later time.
 
Wow, the Foxy Folly arrived today. It has a hidden tang. The appearance of it being full tang is an optical illusion in the photos, but I love the balance. I think this is how the original FF were supposed to be. Very light, it's 23.9oz and 18.5" long. I remember Spiral mentioned that he liked the balance of non-chiruwa handles better. It does feel much livelier in the hand and the handle is sweet, you can hold it in different ways for different tasks.

I'll get some pics and do a review tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.
 
Just opened the UBE buy Sher (villager) I see why so many favor his work. Even threw the 'Brushed Finnish the talent shines threw.

Will spend some time with it and post my thoughts.
