Damnitdamnitdamnit!!! I spend two minutes looking at old DOTDs for comparison and I miss it. I'm not going to email despite yorgos' misfortune with the email bounce (unless you don't mind yorgos??? :o), so nobody else better either! :mad:

Also, a VERY hearty thanks to whomever bought that Gelbu Special first. I was powerless to resist an attempt to buy it...glad to see I missed it!

Wait, I don't see the *SOLD* after any of them. Is there a way to tell when things are sold other than that?

*Edit: Wait, they're there now. I can't be absolutely sure I didn't just miss them before.

Tinmaddog, the only reason I knew it sold was because Auntie Y sent me an email telling me that my sharking attempt failed. She prob. updated the DOTD page with "SOLD" notices after she informed the lucky winners and the crestfallen.

AFAIK, the best way to see if a khuk is sold is to try and buy it :)

I'm glad you said something about returning blems. You are correct, a blem should not be considered a normal sale under the normal guarantee. That is how it should be, and we all understand that you need to make a living.
In order to keep that policy and protect yourself, you might want to consider mentioning that a knife is a blem in the ad. Sometimes it is a little unclear what is a blem and what is not. For instance:

Is this a blem? The knife does not have any problems, but the sheath does. Hmm. Does the guarantee apply? I don't know.
How about:
