I am super busy out here in Reno and will answer your mail phone call as soon as I can, thank you all for your patience

The Siru is tempting, but I've been spending too much money recently...

Looks like a very good bowie dmcintyrelee. I wish you the best.

No more medical fund sheaths? I knew this day would come. I forget how many of those there were originally but there was a ton of them.
Looks like Pugs and some of our other leather benders are gonna be a little busy.

You're the man Bawanna, I owe my Bowie enthusiasm to your innovations towards the micro. I was able to acquire a micro bowie, AKA IBBB last week, a nice little guy with a horn handle. I have yet to compose my post on it.
If this one comes through I will probably aim for another micro with a satisal handle to fully complete the set! My Large AK Bowie is my favorite knife, been calling it the general.
These are probably my favorites of any HI family so far.

BTW,,, what were the medical fund sheaths all about?? I guess I'm late to the party

Here's the history on them, I don't see any pictures but they are all over the forum. They are/were a great sheath.

I owe my bowie enthusiasm to Steely Gunz so I guess the saying what goes around gets around or comes around or is left around, well heck I guess I don't remember the old saying myself but you can blame it on Steely anyhow.

... to fully complete the set!
I dont know if thats possible? I keep trying tho;)
Yep! I think Steely is to blame for the Bowie blaze as well. Of course we can spill some over Bawannas way as well!
Nice looking Siru! Nice looking everything today!

Thank for the information,, that was a great deal. I think the fair trade nature of all this and the signs of real humanitarianism is a large part of the stoke these blades bring.
I obviously need to school up a little more on Steely starting the Bowie craze. I am definitely wanting replacement sheaths for my bowies.
c'mon..... no whammies.... !!!

The baby CAKs are very cool. I took a short stroll in the woods with mine earlier today, lots of heft for a knife that size and a good little chopper.

We have many leather benders on board here, myself not being one of them of course.

My go to guy is Pugs and he's made a number of very fine Bowie sheaths. I'm not sure if they come with whammies or not, actually I'm not 100% sure I know what a whammy is unless it's something similar to a lying cur dog and we don't allow none of them around here.

I don't think Steely invented the Bowie but he certainly ignited my affection for them. I held one at aunties and it didn't really sing to me to loud. He continued to talk em up and then I was gifted a 10" model and for some reason the orchestra kicked in and I've been in love with them since. Maybe the first one was just too big for a rookie like myself.

I blame Steely and Bawanna because Steely was talking about them when I got my first and Bawanna because I blame him for everything anyway so there:D Double whammy!

So does that make it a triple whammy then? I've made a career of being the fall guy, never dreamed I'd be so good at it.

All the bad things that happened today, all my fault and I apologize.
