All Knives are about 7.5 inches and 3 oz. All made by master Kami Bura.
Nice antler handle and good blade. Beatutiful craftsmanship and perfect knives.

Today's lucky day price $39.

Email your best number and I will ship them today.

Oh, boy! I already have 2 of these or I would so be all over this! Happy sharking guys! :D

Yikes,
Just sent an e-mail on number 5, but I'm not picky, they all look good. I'd be more than happy to split the difference and go with number 4. :D

Sarge
Sarge,
Just picked up #3, looks like #5 will be yours. Congrats!
Terry

# 1, 3, 4 and 5 gone.

Thanks Terry, and thank you Yangdu. They're all excellent knives, but #5 just caught my eye for some reason. Like I said, I'm not picky, and there ain't no losers in that bunch, would've been happy with any of 'em.

Sarge

You know, Sarge, we were going to name a car after you instead but HI doesn't make one yet.

#1 incoming! Love HI, the world would be a better place if the standard business model was based on Hi's ethics and prioroties rather than the Harvard School of Business, maximize-shareholder-value-over-the-next-quarter model. I actually read some Wall Street pinhead whinign about Costco, saying that, in a pegorative tone, they seemed to place a higher value on their staff and customers than they did on their shareholders! Horrors! Barnes and Noble used to be like that, they became the largest bookseller on the planet by giving a fair wage and good benifits to a cadre of full time, knowledgable and commited booksellers, and bending over backwards to do for their customers. Then they went public, and the focus shifted to shafting employees (limiteing shifts to 20-32 hour weeks, nivkle and diming down the bennies), and telling customers that they couldn't get books if it they weren't easily available through mega distributors, all in the name of maximizing shareholder value. This is why the few competent booksellers they have are harried, and don't have time to help you, and the rest of them are poorly trained part timers without a clue. I don't like to even go in the stores now.

sorry, rant mode off, but props again to HI for doing it right.

When these go, 78 will have been sold.

Tickles me.

er...

one might be coming to WI. Maybe.

could happen.

Never know.

I have a curve handle sarge just like #1 a very sweet knife, for a small knife that curve makes it feel good in the hand

I've got a JKM, got a Kerambit, got a Tez Darr, got a Kumar Karda, got a KK...and I've got two Sarges. This is hands down the best little knife HI makes in my not so humble opinion. It is very nearly the perfect camping knife in size, shape, and utility - light and easy to pack, small enough for fine work, large enough for tough work, takes a good edge easily and only loses it with effort. My only recommendations are to add a choil (and possibly some jimping), sharpen the clip to a coarse, sturdy edge if legal in your area, and possibly make a new sheath. (Some people have a problem with the stock scabbard. I don't.) This will make it just about perfect.

$39 for a hand forged, differentially hardened knife with an antler handle, scabbard and shipping included. Unfrickingbelievable. Makes a great gift for that knife enthusiast who has everything and doesn't know what they're missing.

The next time one of those "Best Small Fixed Bladed Knife for Under $80" threads pops up in general, know that the Sarge owners are secretly smiling. We already know the answer to that one. ;)

There are knives that I like and there are knives that I like. This one's a Satori Thumbs Up.

edit:THIS IS A 2005 THREAD !!!
ALL GONE.

Thanks Bruce

Deer hunting this year has been ridiculous. The season in WI, where I am located, is STILL open.

I never would have expected to get this much use in one season on deer with the SARGE (s).

Change the sheath to a "dangle" format, grab a rifle, and set out in the pre-dawn, and find the deeres. :D

Even for old guys, life can be good.
