Chitlangi Bowie gone.

I'm loving that sword:) The chit bowie didn't last long:eek: I probably would have sharked that one and paid the price later with my wife;)

Simply outstanding stuff. The balance and the WWII are each looking like best of breed. And I'm so pleased to see the first of the Rusty knives with plain blades.

Wish I weren't tapped out.

Sweet, a Chitlangi Bowie. Someone snagged that one fast! Looks to be a little shorter than the one I have, but at 24 oz., it should be pretty hefty. Whoever got it, please post pics!!

I got the Bowie. I was going to get that prototype, but I figured since it was your idea, I should wait on it and give you first crack at it.

Aren't I nice? :)

Eric.

Where's Nasty? That's *exactly* the Sgian Dubh he's been lusting for and he's gonna be totally irked when he doesn't get it.:( If I had the funds I'd buy it and save it until he got ready for it. I really like the Chitlangi Bowie as well, helluva nice rig!!!! :D

Dibs on the Sgian Dubh Yangdu!

You know I am good for it and where I live...email to follow!

All beauties today. When I first saw the pic of the bowie I knew it was gone before getting to the *sold* sign. By the way...Yangdu, thanks for the extra info you are giving us about the blades and their makers...very cool.

I really like that balance. The lines are just fantastic, and the work on the handle is gorgeous.

Wow, a SG with a scabbard and not the regular sheath. Bhutan sword is nice as well. I love the craftsmanship on the chitlangi bowie, but not necessarily the super wide blade. A slightly thinner (less wide) blade would look neat. What do you think Lefthandblack? Looks very well balanced though. A lot of detail work there.

That's exactly what I thought. I'd go for a blade that wide on a longer one (18" maybe) (almost typed 18' there - that'd be big even for HI :D), but for a LCB that size I'd like a slightly narrower blade. Only reason I didn't snap it up.

That would be pretty sweet looking, but I like the extra heft and chopping power that the wider blade imparts. You really have to handle this blade to see just how awesome it feels in the hand and how well it performs for its size. Plus, I think the wide blade really ties it in with its H.I. heritage. Who knows, if some different Kami's get to try their hand at the design, we might see some subtle variations.
