That MS is spectacular:) I really, really love mine. You have to handle it to believe it. It's such a perfect marriage of strength and grace. On top of that, the engraving on the blade is some of the best (if not THE best) I have seen come out of the shop. Really, really well done. It really stoked the flame of my HIKV:)

It is a beautiful blade...and the engraving is exquisite. I wish the handle were wood though....
Will these MS models become a regular production model? Can anyone tell me the history of these, and what does the inscription on the blade say?

They may eventally make it to the store if Auntie ever gets time to update it. For now they will only be offered here on the forum.
I believe the inscription says "Manakamana" but Auntie (or someone that reads devangari) would have to verify.
As for history look here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...kamana-The-Temple-Visits?highlight=manakamana

Agreed. I just got mine from last week's special and it blew me away. It was my first one by Rajkumar also and it is by far the sharpest HI knife I've received yet.

Thank you for the information, Karda. I enjoyed viewing the pictures of the kami's pilgrimage to the temple; it was nice to be able to see the actual kamis who make the khukuris for HI (being able to put a face with the names).

I tried to fight it, but when it was still here today I said oh well.

Another Manakamana Special for me.
