If you don't have a Chitlangi, you'll never get a better 21" Chit for this price.

Wow.

Seriously. If I weren't holding out for another 12" Seax, I'd be there in a second. Hey, I gotta keep my collecting in check somehow ;)

That chainpuri looks very tempting as well. Nice one the other day, thoughI think this one is nicer. But that chitlangi, oh man oh man...

That's for damned sure! I paid $125 for mine and thought I stole it as the quality was that good. My brother is looking for one right now, but already has two knives I sold him in satisal, so is looking for horn for his first Chitlangi. Yangdu is trying to get one in, or I would grab this guy for him.

Regards,

Norm

Sorry Astro, that one was just too purty to pass up.

Plus, I just ordered my 13th HI yesterday and needed a good 14th to increment that number fast.

At least that would be my excuse if I were superstitious.

I just need to get home early on Monday to hide the box before the wife gets home. And hide the credit card statement. ;)

Eric.

And I think I like horn handle too ..........

If anyone can tell me the difference.............i'd like to know :o

My first ever khukuri was a 21" 29 oz. Wood handled chit just like this one from Amtrak, and it was perfect in every way. As a general rule over the last few months the chits and some other knives have been dropping in size and weight a bit.

I also have a 20" 28 oz. chit in horn from Kumar, that is a fine knife as well.

To me, this one today was the perfect length and weight, and someone got a great knife.

Regards,

Norm

The presentation on that Trisul is perfect. The handle is perfectly symmetrical, and no skinny blade there, and no wrinkles in the scabbard leather. And $20 off the regular price doesn't hurt either.

Norm

If it wasn't for me having to sleep in the daytime, that Chit would've been mine. :grumpy:
