Long Gone...got stealth sharked....:(

Great knives today. I just recieved another chainpuri from Purna, the attention to detail is wonderful. Note the finish work on the peened cap - love that. That chainpuri is a steal at that price. Save me and buy it please. Im also a huge fan of the sarge knife and, well, to be honest, pretty much everything on this DOTD.

I'm here wavering back and forth on it (the chainpure). Looks lovely indeed. But! I'm already waiting on a couple khukuris, so will probably pass, and just kick myself for it later!

the smaller M-43s are just fantastic all around choppers. I have one made by Sher, and it's one of my absolute favorites.

That AK is my dream piece!
(looks like we're going to have another baby!!!! - no AK for me :( )

I've got one of those exact knives! It is so sweet I almost thought about buying another for each hand for martial arts eskrima.

Glad to hear it is a good one. Being mainly into historical khukuris, the lighter weight ones tend to appeal to me a lot more in how they handle.

There is a place 45 minutes away from here that trains Kali and Escrima, and they seem to be of good repute. I am mainly into HEMA and BJJ, but have thought about checking out the Filipino Martial Arts place to see for myself whether it is something I would be interested in/is useful.

BJJ is awesome! :D

I received the Chainpure in the mail today, and must say I'm extremely fond of it! Sigh... Now I'll have to look into getting some more twelve inchers.

Though smaller, it handles similarly to how I'd imagine a good older one would if scaled down. It is also just the right size for everyday carrying during colder months, as it fits perfectly in the internal pocket of my coat.

I very highly recommend it. Mine is definitely going to get a great deal of use!
