I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for helping Himalayan Imports stay afloat while Yangdu is in Nepal. She hadn't had a vacation in years and now she gets something the self-employed rarely enjoy - a true "paid vacation".
If you haven't guessed by now.....today's Deals are the bottom of the barrel....the end of the rope....the last of the pickens...
When they're gone, they're gone (until after Yangdu returns). If you've got the urge...the itch....the trigger finger...whatever....now's the time to make your move.
A few of these were posted before and did not find their way home...so they're back up again with discounted prices. The rest are set at the prices Yangdu gave me.
Again - thank you all very much for your continued support.

SOLD - Kagas Katne, 2 oz., 6 inches, 0.3 oz./in., $12 shipped
SOLD - Kagas Katne, 2 oz., 6 inches, 0.3 oz./in., $12 shipped
SOLD - Ang Khola, 43 oz., 21 inches, 2.0 oz./in., S.B. $90 shipped ($2 an ounce!)
This is a Brute of a chopper. Yet, it does not feel terribly heavy. The spine is a full half-inch thick - and the blade is well-fullered. The karda and chakma are both large-sized and the karda has very nice "banding" in the horn. The AK's handle is horn, but has been covered with a rubber sleeve. The grip is excellent and fits my hand well. It's not a village model - the blade is fully polished (the edge has been filed). There is probably something wrong with the handle, and that's why it got sleeved. I couldn't feel anything wrong with it myself and it sounded ok when I chopped a 2x4 with it. That said, H.I. will not guarantee it, like the regular models. So, take advantage of this discount and get a heckuva chopper!
SOLD - Hanuman - wood, 27 oz., 18.5 inches, 1.5 oz./in., K.M. $140 shipped
Perfect rig - has all the tools. Excellent traditional scabbard.
Close up pic of tools:
SOLD - WWII - horn, 23 oz., 18 inches, 1.3 oz./in., L.B. $100 shipped
Had a rust spot on it - I buffed it off. Better than before, but what the heck...take a discount anyway.
SOLD - Kobra - wood, 20 oz., 18.5 inches, 1.1 oz./in., S.B. $75 shipped
Deeply discounted - steal this perfect rig. The karda and chakma have nicely grained handles.

This is a perfect rig - and the streaking in the horn on the karda is very nice.
