I have a few PM2s that I'd like to get some deep carry clips for. I read there are the mxggear clips and there are the lynch clips, both with the options of long and short. To those with experience, which brand is better? Should I pick the longer ones or shorter ones (for both function and looking), pros and cons please? Thanks.

Lynch are great but hang over the edge of the PM2, which is a no go for me. For PM2s, I prefer MXGs like this...

I've had both and I don't think either is "better."

I usually go with MXG Gear and have several. Zero issues with them.

I typically opt for shorter clips but I think it really depends on what you prefer aesthetically.

I alwaysput a deep carry clip on the PM2. My favorite is the bead blasted one from "blade4sell" on big auction site over the MXG ones because its the only one I know of that is recessed/countersunk for the screw heads, so the screws don't catch on your pocket like other deep carry clips. I also really like the finish because it fairs better than paint. The spit one shown here has less drag, like the wire clip.

I like these MXG Gear over the round hole type. Feel better in hand, look better in my opinion. I too don't like how some clips hang over the handle. Both Lynch and the round hole MXG stick out.

There are two types; one is deeper than the other. Deeper for Para 3, the shallower one is better suited for the PM2.

I have a couple of short Lynch clips.
I like them a lot.
I did find them really frustrating to install tho.
I felt I was going to strip the screws trying to get them in the clip itself.
I ended up just touching the head of the screw on a grinder just to remove a little meat.
Plus the screws were too short for a thread to grab on my boomer scales and a set of micarta scales.
I ended up making it work but it was way more work than I thought swapping a pocket clip would be.

I’ve used both the mx and the Lynch and prefer the Lynch. That circle gives you a place to hold as you’re pulling the knife out of your pocket and I just like the look better.

The picture is a Lynch short bronze.9E3C55E6-11D2-46A9-AAD8-ED2ACCB2BE54.jpeg
