Today happens to be Bri in Chi's Birthday.
He would've been 70 years old today.
A good friend of H.I. whom will always be remembered here fondly.
He was our humble woodchuck, thru whom much good knowledge was gained.
Please join me in a moment of prayer and rememberance for him.

Done!!!!

Not only was Brian quite the woodchuck, Brian was also very talented in many other areas! Brian shared several projects with me that he had finished and one I know of that was in process when he walked west. I wish I could've shared the pics of the gun(s) Brian completed and the old rifle that was in process but Brian asked me to never share them so I deleted them in case I was ever tempted, like now, although if that were the case I would never have mentioned the pics... :D IIRC Brian's pistol was an old Snaphaunce, yeah I shook my head at the name too.;)
Here's a couple of links to where Brian got his kits, he did all the work himself and his pistol would blow the pic of this completed one outta the water! Pun intended.:p ;) :D

For the life of me I can't recall which rifle Brian was building but the case color on the lock looked as if it was done by someone with 40 years or more of experience! And the stock carving was nothing short of spectacular!

Wish I had known him... seems like there are a lot of folks like that...
and many I am glad to have met so I guess in the end it all balances out.

I'm proud to be the current custodian of some Khukuri's he owned.

I particularly choose this Sirupati as Brian did the hand carving on the sheaf as it adds something of the man who did it:

Missed knowing him and many of the other folk who made the HI forum and Cantina what it is but looking forward to catching up with them somewhere, sometime.

If there's a Cantina on the other side, there's certainly a barstool with the name, "Bri in Chi" on it. :o HBD, BiC.

Happy Birthday, Brian
HI, Pala and Kamis

I miss him! I was just getting to know him when he passed...

It was an honor to engrave that snaphaunce lock.

Sadness and smiles from here.
