I make an assortment of things out of paracord, but recently I dipped into my kernmantle rope stash with the intention of creating something a bit bigger.

Compared to a normal sized lanyard:

Stacked up with a Spyderco Military for more comparison:

So what should I do with this thing? It's giant, but might work as a keyring fob. :D

I'm going to glue the end down later, but should I sear the ends tight or fluff them out?

That first pic does not do it justice, that thing is huge :D

Use it as a bumper for a boat?

Moved from General Knife Discussion to Gadgets & Gear ... guess why.

Well originally I was going to put it up in the Gallery, but I'd like some discussion on what to do with the thing.

Glued the ends up. Now just how to finish?

Oh, and it wouldn't work well as a zipper pull. This thing is so big it doesn't like being shown up. ;)

Send it to me and I'll guarantee it ends up on an M1A2 Abrams in Baghdad

Email sent. :)

I can't think of any uses besides having the biggest baddest lanyard on the block, but you guys are inventive. Think of something you will. :D

Put a longer loop on them and sell them as tactical flapjacks across the pond. Getting whacked with that thing would have to leave a mark!

There is nothing tactical about it of you need to carry it under your arm :p
