Make another pack of aftermarket grivory Becker scales in neutral colors!

Seriously. Some people love the bright rainbow colors, but others of have feelings ranging from mild annoyance to detest when it comes to bright colors (this is coming from someone whose wardrobe consists primarily of gray apparel). I prefer to stay away from bright colors, especially when it comes to my outdoor gear. I know, every one has a different opinion. That's why the solution is to offer a second option for people like me!

So far, we have a pack of:
Blue
Red
Green
Fuchsia

I'd like to see a 4-pack offered in:
Chocolate brown (we know Kabar already does this on the Jarosz series, so it should be easy)
Flat dark earth
OD
Coyote (again, already done on the tweeners. Should be cake)

Or something along those lines. Anyone with me?
 
We have been asking for it for so long... idk who asked for the fru fru colors, but yes, I am right there with you!
 
I just get tired of black. Especially black on black with a black sheath. But I like the feel of grivory handles and can't spend $45 each for micarta on every knife. I think having aftermarket micarta, g10, colorful grivory, and neutral grivory options will just make Beckers that much more unique and customizable.

I would like to see those you mentioned and a bone or ivory color as well. I think that would look really sharp.
I'm definitely not a fan of the "primary colors" that are offered. Reminds me of a small pack of crayola crayons.
 
If KaBar were smart, either they themselves in-house or by license agreement with a third party provider could use a 3D printer loaded up with Grivory and various pigments and let us order all manner of custom colors via the internet; literally just clicking on available options and letting their computer driven 3D printer process the order.

Much more complicated products besides handles slabs are available through consumer operated ordering software in a vast array of colors. This should be a no-brainer but i question whether or not economy of scale could be achieved as i do not know the sales numbers.
 
I just don't understand how the rainbow colors sell better than tactical colors would... I can't wrap my head around it. If you can invest in pink and robbins egg blue, surely in the TACTICAL SURVIVAL WRAWR group tactical colors would sell even better? Maybe even safety orange?

Also... If you catch Ka-Bar around Christmas they offer BOGO on everything from Kabar.com at MSRP. The scales go quick. I was late but tweeners were available as were the VZ. Turned out ok otherwise I prob wouldn't have tried the VZ. Turns out they're pretty nice IMO. Still prefer the regular micarta but I'm glad to have a couple of everything.
 
I agree completely. I like colors other than black. All of my Beckers are paired with wood or Micarta and it does add a lot to the cost of each knife.

All except my second bk15 is currently on the brown grivory scales they look great.
 
Id like to find out where you got the VZ handles. I have all the Camillus Becker Series except for the proto type for Helicopter pilots. Looking to find a Micarta other than brown, oor a VX and/or a G10 set of scales for my Camper BK 5. thx.
 
Orange, OD and FDE would make a nice package. Similar to the green, blue, red one they have.
 
keep in mind folks - the bright colors aren't grivory, they're injection molded poly -- just like the tweener and ZK scales.
lower melting point, cheaper supply, etc.... (easier to mod)

that said, I would love to see some handles in more sedate colors as well.
