I carry in my waistband and there isn't much to get ahold of on my Echelon and Knockout.

I actually go the other direction on this. I'd like to have a deep carry clip for my Blur. I don't really like how much it sticks out of my pocket.

I like a deep carry clip. It's nice, but not a requirement. It surely hasn't slowed down many knife sales not having that feature. On the flip side, knives with deeper carry do tend to get more carry time with me due to their ability hide in my pocket. Not attracting attention is a nice plus with me. However, if I worked construction, I wouldn't give 2 flyin' flips how the knife carried.

Deep carry is better for more control of it not slipping out.... Just stick yer thumb inside pocket push up, with yer fingers kinda make a fist. Squeeze and pull..... Thats the easiest way to do it.
